Udok is a digital platform that brings healthcare providers together in one single network. We enable on-demand healthcare, free from bureaucracy, inflated prices and complexity. Their vision is to provide access to patients no matter where they are located through a mobile device. Patients can access hundreds of primary care providers through a mobile app, from nurses to doctors to pharmacists. Udok is aiming to become the largest primary healthcare network in Africa through building private partnerships. Udok started with this mission in 2017 and has built a team of 10 employees, delivering care to 140 sites and growing partnerships with two of the largest retail groups in Africa. We have facilitated 15 000 GP consultations and 400 Covid-19 tests so far.

Petrus (Piet) is a digital entrepreneur and qualified medical doctor. He is an adventurist and enjoys sports like kite surfing and mountain biking. He founded Udok Smart Clinics in 2018 that digitised the retail pharmacy clinic environment. The business was then transformed into a digital platform that connects patients to a trusted primary healthcare network. Petrus love spending time with his wife and three daughters.
