ACADEMY

The Academy is for aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators and creatives passionate about aligning with God to solve some of our time’s most pressing issues. The Academy is divided into two parts: 2 days back-to-back inspiring virtual sessions and an in-person weekend gathering in Stellenbosch. Expect keynote speakers, industry-related panel discussions, group reflections, and brainstorming sessions to navigate the intersection between work and faith.

Attendees wanting to learn more and dig deeper, can also apply to be part of the NextGen Founders Programme (see more information in the link below).

WHAT TO EXPECT

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FORM THE ACADEMY:

  • Interacting with Christian entrepreneurs who are integrating their faith into their ventures
  • Grappling with the questions surrounding the Theology, Culture and Work intersection
  • Discussions and practical guidance on dealing with and reacting to current issues in our world
  • Building a network of like-minded peers from all over South Africa
  • Listening to personal stories of how young Africans have launched redemptive ventures

WE’LL ENGAGE WITH TOPICS SUCH AS:

  • How do Christian entrepreneurs bring solutions to redeem spaces in society
  • Discovering how a business idea fits into God’s plan
  • Finding a work-life balance that honours God

“Triga was recommended to me by a dear friend who clearly saw the fire that lit up in my eyes every time I spoke about Social Entrepreneurship. Also, I love Jesus! So stepping into a world where these two things collide was absolutely mind-blowing. Triga is the first community that I’ve seen that carries the perfect balance of equipping leaders with practical tools, keeping people and community upliftment as the core focus and using the life and teachings of Jesus as the foundations of the entire programme. This is a community built by excellence and a love for redemption. Only great things can come from it!”
