PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA
Social Coding ensures that society’s most excluded people are given equal opportunities in the tech economy. They offer digital training, such as computer familiarisation, coding, robotics, and business and technology alignment to youth living in rural communities. By partnering with corporates, government, and family foundations, Social Coding teaches the tech skills needed for higher education and exposes students to the ICT careers in coding, robotics and 4IR technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality. Social Coding also recruits and trains unemployed youth with permanent digital skills to lead Social Coding programs in their local communities.
