Let’s Be Friends is a brand-building digital design and motion studio. They combine the use of brand strategy and crafted visuals to give brands and products standout in the digital landscape. With a strong focus on staying human in an ever-changing age of AI, they offer more than just pixels, cultivating healthy relationships as a team and with their clients. They specialise in creating brand identity systems, telling visual stories with bespoke motion design and making slick digital experiences that are fun to use. Their past and current clients include global giants like Nike, Asics, Puma, and Reebok, as well as South Africa’s leading grocery delivery service, Checkers Sixty60.
Philip Erasmus
Founder & CEO
Philip Erasmus is a multidisciplinary creative professional and founder of Let’s Be Friends design and animation studio. While having roots in the music industry (as the drummer of local Afrikaans band Die Heuwels Fantasties), he has since focused his creative endeavours on the advertising industry, where he has successfully grown his consultancy to a vibrant creative team. As a Vega Brand Communications School graduate equipped with an additional marketing qualification, Philip produces creative work that is visually appealing and strategic from a business point of view. He has led creative campaigns and product launches for a variety of local and international brands including Nike, Checkers Sixty60, Asics and Ray-Ban.
