Zale Hechter is the founder and CEO of Cliqtech. He began his journey in Fiduciary Services (FidTech) in 2009. He has spent the last 13 years striving to ensure that as many people as possible get access to a valid, signed, and retrievable Will using the scale that technology can bring. He launched www.smartwill.co.za in 2018 and South Africa’s first full white-labelled Will in 2020. He is driven by personal experience of the troubles caused by not having a Will in place and the level of financial risk exposure people have without being aware. His goal is to change the world one Will at a time.

HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT | CLIQTECH

James Perris is the Head of Business Development at Cliqtech. He has spent the past 15 years successfully engineering initiatives for SA’s largest multinationals & listed entities. He founded, and subsequently sold, one of SA’s first Financial Service Intermediaries purely focused on volume and affinity. Currently, he is solely focused on the financial inclusion of all South Africans via a “Digital Marketplace Financial Services Activator” strategy.
James has served on various boards alongside some of SA’s most seasoned business minds, who have mentored and challenged him to grow. His passion for insurance and technology comes through in any conversation. He delivers scalable business solutions and products through financial services to various business sectors.
