This two-part business specialises in orthopaedic soft tissues repairs and traumatology. Their goal to help change a nation through sourcing product baskets that can offer sustainable growth. With a heart for locally manufacturing world class orthopaedic products, they believe that they can change the African orthopaedic environment by bringing cost effective quality goods to market.

Stephan has a background in Human Movement Science and started out in medical sales, setting the direction for a lifelong investment. With 10 years of medical and orthopaedic sales and marketing management experience, Anstem is the realisation of a dream – starting a God-focused business with like-minded colleagues. With a “lead from the front” mentality, he believes that anything is possible with hard work and the right people at his side!

Angus is a co-founder and director of Anstem Medical – focusing on the sourcing, marketing and delivery of medical devices and implants in the discipline of orthopaedics. He has a background in Pharmacology, but early in his career moved over to sales and marketing of medical devices. Due to the repercussions of an international acquisition in the industry, the ambition that he shared with Stephan, to start his own medical device company, realised much sooner than anticipated. He has a passion for connecting with people from all walks of life and dreams of entering the field of medical manufacturing.
